Damn Luca, you’re carnal as f***.At times nakedly sentimental and operatic in a way you just gotta run with. Hit the spot for me. The trauma metaphor was beautiful. Like someone mixed Badlands with Raw, and threw in a Lynch weirdo for good measure. Luca continues to make movies that make full use of the senses. You can really taste this one. Cannibalism has seldom felt so sensual. Yum.
