But it’s definitely not a coincidence that for this track with this title, Soundtrakk also “resurrected” Nujabes. Very nice touch

I think the chorus is cute and fun. It helped that I heard the quote from Amy first

The verses are solid there’s a lot of meaning in the first verse that isn’t immediately obvious. It is a nice ode to the life of being an artist, and you can hear Lupe’s perspective in there

Similar to DMIZ though I’m getting slight “undercooked” vibes I feel like this could use a 3rd verse and a little extra production but we’ll see what these other records are like

Flow is pretty good for modern lupe

I don’t need to hear him start a song with “and they say and they say” ever again tho, I’ve been tired of that for like 3 albums

Lupe verses are impressive on a technical level like the 2nd verse of this song, his rhyme scheme is crazy.

But ngl since DW I don't really have an idea on what he's rapping about sometimes. Like I get the overall concept of the album. But I don't really get what the subject matter of this song is supposed to be.

He's gotten overly wordy since T&Y and it doesn't help that the production has gotten worse. He's not as bad as Em with it. But I do wished he toned it down

I think LupEnd would be a great finale if he didn't scrap it. I think lupe is good with mixtapes and loosies, he doesn't have much to say but I will listen, perhaps there'll be Mural Nephew

That second verse is insane on Cake but wtf is that hook mehn. Smh. This sounds like he didn’t spend enough time fleshing out these songs.
