Mac played a huge role in putting LA artists on without a doubt. Weird they’d leave it out but maybe something to do with the current situation over there.

I think you’ll enjoy this album a lot though. A different style of rap & instrumentals than faces but he is rapping all over this. Deff worth checking out on friday. Solid mix of faces era & what he was going towards at the end of his lifd

i think they’d roll out it out as such, we’re likely still getting other vaulted projects honestly. he has whole albums sitting in the vault we already know about, like the entire metro produced album that was originally the companion to Divine Feminine. prob getting that 92 til infinity tape at some point. at the minimum though we’re definitely getting MacLib

I feel like we got this one only because it leaked. I love how Mac's estate doesn't want to force releases and I wouldn't bet my money on us getting another project from him tbh but I could also be wrong

i do too and i agree, but i think they’re being patient with putting out the finished vaulted works that we already know exist. we won’t get everything but i think they want to honor his legacy and also keep him relevant in a sense beyond just legacy cus he should absolutely be alive right now making his best s*** yet. i think it’d be way different if they were cobbling s*** together to complete half finished projects. i mean, we’re going on 7 years since his death and we’re getting a new record tonight, id say most fans never even knew about balloonerism before they announced it. maybe it’s all just wishful thinking on my part though you might be right
