dis sounds more like a Nathan Fielder idea lmao
Season 5 is the greatest season of television ever, any other answer is wrong unless you answer with a different season of Mad Men, in which I would be willing to have the discussion.

I s*** you not, watching those 3 episodes earlier today is what compelled me to make that post.

The crazy thing is, that might not even be the best run of the season
The Other Woman
Commissions and Fees
The Phantom
You could even start it at The Christmas Waltz if you wanted to. Maybe not the strongest overall episode but that Joan/Don scene is a highlight of the whole series
i still think about this show even after finishing a couple months ago
very high on the rewatch queue when i get around to it

honestly yeah, the highs on this season were amazing
I am currently rewatching the show and it is way better this time, then when I watched it when it came out.
It is really funny to watch their creative work, especially in a time like ours where commercials are pretty much dead in the water.
Don Draper would be making SoMe campaigns:)
I will check back into this thread when I am done watching it
Something about MM that has this level of care and appreciation that compels me to say they don't make em like this anymore

started watching this over the summer for the first time. Almost done with season 4. The show is damn near perfect. might be the best I've seen since Breaking Bad. it's up there with the wire and sopranos. I'm mad at myself for putting it off for so long
Don’t really like how they ended the show
SPOILER
Kinda mahhh
But I really like the show allot
And here is a good a***yst of some of the takeaway from the show

Don finding inner peace through hippie counterculture then using it to create an iconic ad campaign for one of the oldest corporations ever is the definition of genius imo.

Sopranos, Wire, Breaking Bad and Mad Men are Mount Rushmore. Twin Peaks and Better Call Saul are tied for 5th.

That part was cool, but season 7 as a whole was a letdown

Yeah S7 should’ve been 10 episodes
Season 7 should’ve been 50 episodes
season 7 should have been the gang becoming friends again and recreating shut the door and have a seat
started a re-watch. still in season 1.
don wants to be that hobo character so bad
