I don't think selling Ugarte - or wanting to sell Ugarte - makes sense. He's a former Amorim player, and did well for him. Amorim has to get the best out of him again.

I think for me it was about the fact that I don’t see Maguire and de ligt ever playing together. So if they both only play that central CB role, then j don’t want to go into next season with one of them as the starter.

I don’t see how de ligt and Mag play together. And despite his heroics, I don’t want to see Maguire be the first name on the team sheet. And de ligt is worse.

We wanted a proven goal getter last time around too, Ten Hag has said Kane was our top target. It's easier said than done given our position and the market.

I expect Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea will all be signing a striker this summer. And beyond, PSG could probably use one and who knows how long Lewandowski keeps it up at Barca.

I do not see us managing to get Gyokores or Osimhen ahead of any of these clubs. After those two, who is there that is available and 'proven'. I'm struggling to think of anyone.
