Soul Eater been on my watchlist for a long time but I've been hesitant cause I've heard the ending of the anime isn't great. Is the manga better?

Just started reading Berserk too after I watched the 1997 anime last year. I'm only 4 volumes in but I just ordered volumes 6-18 cause I've been enjoying it so much and couldn't wait to see what happens after the Golden Age Arc. It's incredibly sad that he won't be able to finish this masterpiece. Though what I've seen on r/Berserk is that he had a rough outline on how it ends and had been taking on more apprentices and assistants, under the name Studio Gaga and they were already involved in the production of Berserk. So who knows what they'll do with it, if anything.

Either way, RIP to a legend.

may as well just go ahead and watch it cuz the anime is truly pretty good. you should def read the manga afterwards if you dig it tho, it apparently has a bunch of material and a different ending that never got adapted

I think I might just go with the manga first. It's been something I've been interested in for a minute and I'd rather get the full experience/story first. Will prob watch it afterwards just to see everything in motion.
