Finished parasite in love. It got pretty scientific at some parts but it still got its point across, at least for me. Interesting take on the romance genre and didn’t feel too rushed for being 14 chaps.
I just finished it and I agree 100%
the science part was not needed that much and the hospitalized couple info that lasted 2 chapters wasnt needed either
it had the usual bittersweet rom drama ending but I didnt feel like it wasnt its own thing (if that makes sense). I deeply cared for both main characters and the author did a good job at making me wonder how regular love can also be parasitic and how what was portrayed as sick and ''fake'' couldnt be more real
it was an interesting read

Agreed. For me I saw it as a message of dependence. Almost like a symbiotic relationship (one where both parties benefit I believe) hence the name parasite in love. These 2 characters faced their own issues and sought comfort from one another as they both felt they didn’t belong in society. Is that a real reason to love someone else? This story kinda answered that question.
Definitely a different read than the usual romance

what would you recommend as someone completely new to manga? I really enjoy the dragon ball, naruto and hunter x hunter anime, basically don’t have a lot of experience outside of shonen lol

Try some boys love you might end up liking it more than shonen
