we have seen so many extremely creative and unique comic book movies from the Raimi Spider Mans, Ang Lee's Hulk, Snyder's Watchmen, Nolan's TDK, Into the Spider Verse, Logan, even the Snyder cut of Justice League which all tried new things and took creative risks

Just because its a comic book movie, doesn't mean that it should be generic and stale as well as just copying stereotypes we have seen over and over again.

People that settle for mid because “it’s just a comic book movie” are why were missing high quality films. There aren’t any films in the mcu that hold a candle to (raimi’s) Spider-Man 2 or TDK for this reason. I say this as a fan of the mcu
