Marvel was incredibly slow with getting BP2 into production when Chadwick was alive so why rush now? How about giving your cast & crew time to grieve & figure out how they want to move forward. It hasn’t even been a year since Chad passed away

It doesn’t start shooting for another 9 months. That doesn’t mean they aren’t working on the film at this very moment or planning to do so soon. Clearly they are since they have plans to shoot next summer which means they’re wasting no time to get this sequel going.
This is Disney we’re talking about so I don’t know why I’m surprised. Can’t wait for the awkward cgi Chadwick boseman to pass the touch to Shuri before riding into a cgi sunset while Beyoncé harmonizes in the background.

I said nothing about the first black panther’s production (which technically was rushed hence the s*** cgi. I know it took years to actually get the movie off the ground but once it did Coogler was rushed into making it) and specifically mentioned how Disney/Feige were taking their time to go into production with the sequel but now they’re moving forward at rapid speed even with their lead passing in the process. Since they were taking their sweet time before they should have no problem slowing the process down again now that Chadwick is gone.
Nov 23, 2020Most likely a recast or a Black Panther from an alternate universe that is connected to Storm. If they do use Chadwicks Black Panther he will be fully suited with some voice acting either by him or a voice over

I think it's disrespectful because they have no reason not put a hold on BP2. Feige isn't in a situation where Chadwick died deep into production so he can actually make the decision to wait another year before moving forward. It's only been two months and it's clear that Marvel didn't think for a second about slowing things down.
I find that ironic considering that Black Panther was one of the few MCU films that didn't quickly announce a sequel for but now slowing production down is suddenly out of the question.

Chadwick would support anything, a recast, Shuri being BP.

malédictionNow that the multiverse is open, we won’t get a recast per se, but a T’Challa from a different Earth (if the Tom Cruise/Iron Man rumour comes to life, maybe have them both from the same Earth).
Ngl I don’t wanna see that just yet though. It would be way more raw with Shuri dealing with her brother gone, for at least a whole film. And then give her a Civil War type sequel were a different T’Challa is introduced (along with other characters)

Also seeing y’all trying to name black actors just reminded me how limited we are in Hollywood. Is this due to us not getting as much opportunity or are we simply not as good of actors as white people? I wouldn’t be opposed to believing that. When you name your top 5 nba players, they usually all black. When you name top 5 actors they’re usually all white 🤷🏽♂️
