no spoilers!
I didn't spoil anything.. unless you didn't watch the trailers. I'll tag it anyway.
Edit - i don't know how to hide the s***, lol.

no no i was kidding. obviously thats not a spoiler and the movie has been out for over 2 months so youre good.
i feel bad. sorry about that. i appreciate how accommodating you were
I cant think of a bad character in this movie tbh. Everyone was good

angelina jolie was terrible huh
why would I care about humankind if they never even show humans in the movie? Marvels refusal to just show extras and meaningful interactions with regular people in their movies is just weird to me

She was a badass tbh. I can see people being like they didn’t give her enough to do but s*** I think it’s cool to have an awesome actress in a supporting role. The casting on this movie was so strong IMO
I thought her memory illness thing worked fine given the reveal of what it meant, and Gilgamesh taking care of her was sweet as hell

couldn't feel anything for her sorry she was just bland like icarus
Am I the only one that thought it was annoying as hell that they switched back n forth so much between IMAX shots? I thought Marvel was all IMAX now. Or at least digital IMAX
why is no one mentioning this? was very annoying especially during that early deviant fight scene

Don't think it had anything to do with her acting though. The script just failed to properly develop stakes and character attachments to each other and the world so the audience would have something to fully invest in.

I mean yeah that is the real issue I agree

Tell them my nigga. F***ing hated it
my rankings as of now would be:
1. Eternals
2. Shang Chi
3. No Way Home
4. Black Widow
Easily the best directed Marvel movie, imo. You can tell Chloe Zhoa had full control of shot compositions and editing.
She knows how to make beautifully shot movies you'll only watch once. I'll never revisit The Rider, Nomadland, or this ever again. But the experience of watching all of them were dope strictly due to how she directs.
This was not bad I throughly enjoyed it I think the problem is that it’s a slow pacer and Marvel fans have been spoiled on action these last few years

You need a movie to tell you about humankind? :elon: at minimum you can look at the rest of the Marvel universe. Or just look around you.

It was pretty clear the moments that were inspired by Malick or Nolan or Kubrick and I don't think she did quite as good of a job as I was hoping as far as honing all the influences down to her own vision within the MCU but it was still pretty awesome to behold.
Tha Malicky scenes back in the day just didn't look right with them wearing their superhero outfits should have gone with a little more of a dressed down look like when Thanos was farming

Movie spends a whole hour telling us they immortals and then spends the other hour killing them

so jarring, especially when you had different shots from the same scene that switched between the regular aspect and IMAX. this movie was a technical mess in general tbh
