I should've meditated during the great conjunction thing smh
Meditated 3 times that day. Felt awesome.
Glad y’all keeping the thread alive
wish I found this sooner tbh
have you tried non-sitting meditations before?
I love walking
Just got back into it with a Muse headband, I'm testing it out for educational research.
Thing is actually really cool, especially the way it works with meditation. Really enjoying it and recommend it to anyone, from newbies trying to get into meditation to experts who've already mastered longer sessions.

Yo wtf, s*** it $300??
Yeah it ain't worth that fasho. It definitely is fun for free though. 😂 Or if you're loaded and can afford that type of thing.

Yeah Ive looked into neurofeedback a bit. It appears the ceiling for a good machine is fairly pricey, into the $K's for an actual decent setup including all the software.
And with those pricier machines, if you wire it up incorrectly you could royally f*** yourself. One of the reasons it is not a marketable thing, and most people just go to neurofeedback professionals.
But whats so interesting is it allows you to train yourself to hit that meditation pocket consistently. Supposedly the gains are like 100 fold

I had a decent stretch early part of December, hoping I get back to that.
15 minutes after I get home from work is what I'm trying to be consistent with.

!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OIjsWknVcGQ&ab_channel=NeuroMeditationInstituteThis is extremely interesting, I'll look more into it. It almost seems like there exists a community for this sort of thing. A shame the tech is so expensive right now, but surely in a few years—as it continues to develop—the price will dramatically drop.
Thanks for posting that video, I'm going to watch it now.
Ever since my nana died i been inconsistent. Gotta get the streak going again

I believe in you (and don’t be too hard on yourself!). Give yourself some space to grief and rest too. You’re loved.

I feel like shrooms elevates the experience, last week I took a microdose capsule and just focused on a tree in the distance while I breathed. Stared at a bird that was on a high up branch without blinking and the gaps between the leaves started doing that swirly thing that happens on psychedelics. Eventually the color of the sky turned to bright white. I felt so connected to that bird
I also realized lately how I was an incredibly toxic and horrible boyfriend to my ex all along and that my rationalizations for my toxic behavior were all bullshit to protect my fragile ego. Feel like meditation played a role in this, had to separate myself from the situation and see things from her point of view.
