One of the biggest things meditation can do frfr but its only noticed in retrospect atleast in my case.
All limitations are self imposed. Like literallly. SELF imposed.
It just makes one realize that reality is all so simple, its just ever changing.

Yeah for sure, same way for me as well. Meditation sort of clears up the fog and then throughout the days it becomes progressively easier for me to recognize toxic thought patterns or even identity the root of some overall discomfort lingering in me
It is truly a beautiful thing when you feel free of those limitations and you can feel a glimpse of the true potential of your being. It's like genuine confidence. Sadly these types of realizations are usually fleeting for me, that's why I recently gave meditation another try

Before i met this chick im in love with i was out cold approaching irl just cause. I was NOT doing that before my practice
im guessing once the law of dependent co-arising became apparent thru consistent meditation connection with people became alot easier. Even my bosses boss was surprised at the difference in my personality.
i dont meditate to reach a goal so hearing about peoples opinion change about me is dope. Shows that there are real benefits.

ngl that's great to hear. For your boss to actually comment on that is huge because like you said, it shows that the improvement is real

Yup. Its dope. its just easier to talk to everyone now and be at ease while doing it.
I been meditating since oct of last year. Now im basically a zen buddhist. So i practice zazen meditation. Its like mindfulness meditation but instead of focusing on breath you focus on sitting/posture. Very somatic and uncomfortable when first starting. but its great.

really had to break myself down yesterday and stayed in my own head for a little over 30 minutes

When first starting, just start focusing on ur breath for like 30 seconds. Whichever the feeling is more apparent, in the nostrils or diaphram or chest.
Thats pretty much the gist of it.
Used to be able to focus on breathing & that was helpful but now it just seems to intensify my pain, Idk why (spine & leg) itβs neurological. Maybe if I keep bringing attention to it enough without overdoing it can start to heal
Been bedbound for a month+ w curtains closed so has been extremely challenging in general, itβs nice to listen to the birds & Itβs been raining the last Couple days
Also been listening to a few mins of Alan watts & eckhart tolle when I can
