An hour a day at least
But even 10 minutes a day can be good enough. If you push yourself too hard at first you’ll miss the point. It’s supposed to be a deeply relaxing process, like sinking into a pond not something you struggle with and another “thing” you aren’t doing that’s making you feel like s*** for not completing your goals etc. I’m of the opinion that if meditating is making your mental health worse you should stop and take a break for a while until it becomes beneficial again. I used to try to do sitting meditation too much and practice mindfulness all day everyday to the point it gave me anxiety fr. You gotta find a personal balance for these things
