Bump. Hope everyone is good. Spring is here, go and practice those walking meditations, smell those flowers. S***, be the flower.
Been so thankful this year. The practice and my ups and downs with it feels more validated than ever. Sometimes I feel so light it feels like I may just float away completely.

Probably the most life changing practice someone can do, shout out to everyone itt
Just completed a 10 day vipassana course. Would 100% recommend to anyone that wants to get deeper into their practice. So amazing
This seems so amazing. I wish I had some freetime to do this

I wish I knew how to convince more people of this
When I started, I just got weird goosebumps and couldn't keep my posture not only in sessions but also in life...But something told to just sit through the motions try to focus on my breath even though I was frustrated and thought it wasn't taking me anywhere. Till one day sitting in burmese it all clicked, I was stable but posture unshaken and my mind was peaceful and I felt like I could stay there forever in my nirvana.
I'm not free from the things that used to haunt my minds, but now I feel like I have the tools to face them ... live through the pain.

staring directly into the I am is incredibly strange.
why anything at all and why specifically this experience.
I've really fallen off meditating. Its real hard to get back into it.
Same. I was so consistent in 2020 and 2021. Got a new job and it somehow slipped away
has anyone ever experienced like a faint hum/buzzing sensation behind their eyes/behind the nose after a session?
i get it every time and ive been wondering what it is

watched like 15 minutes of this, i didnt really know a lot of the names he was using but at the beginning i thought he did a good job explaining what to do, i started meditating at the beginning and when i got to the gratitude part it was really easy to do and felt great, im surprised i never thought to do that before its like praying i guess, i havent meditated in a long time so i kinda lost focus when he wasnt guiding it as much, definitely going to start again

are you 'trying' to reach/achieve something?
trying to observe mental speech and sounds, mental images, bodily sensations, and emotions without attaching myself to them
