His album right before Championships also did 100k. So it's how you frame it.
Wins & Losses did pretty poorly relatively too, I was gonna say that lol. the album before tht did 246K fw. Wins & Losses was Meek really struggling post Drake beef lolll
It had more pre same amount of pre release singles as ChaMpsionships did lol. Flamerz Flow, BabyDurk (which was hyped from the snippet) and Blue Notes II.
And champions Oodles Noodles and fab song dropped like a week before album, expensive pain singles got nice space between to build hype - they just couldnt lol. Esp the Durk Baby Meek song... that snippet was everywhere and then it dropped and it just didnt go crazy.
Championship had waaaaaaay more promo than EP lol cmon it’s not even close. FF and BN2 were just songs for his fanbase. Those weren’t meant to be hits. The song with Durk is still top 100 on AM so it’s doing pretty well. Just cause it’s not topping the charts on billboard doesn’t mean anything.

It deff had a nice lil run, but it didnt go as crazy as I thought would. Maybe was just me but snippet was crazy.
And singles are singles he released them prior to the album to build hype
If anything Quarantine Pack was "for the fans" lol
jokes funny asf but he right first week sales dont rlly matter like at all compared to overall sales. i mean whatever period of time u got to recoup that advance is what matters

If you think this was supposed to be a “hit” and nothing more than just some for his fans idk what to tell you lol. It doesn’t even sound like brah was aiming for that. He just spitting. This more than likely was intended to be a loosie until he decided to throw it on the album.

Doesnt have to be a hit - has to build hype for the album - promo - in regards to our talk about promo

If that’s what he was on he would’ve went the championship route and got all of the hottest features. Meek is in a comfortable spot, less promo and hype with EP and still did more than one of the hottest rappers that had an album full of hit rappers including Drake. Take and do whatever you want with that info. Meek went on a hard promo run with Championship and not Ep which is why I say context matters. Meek not top dawg in that lane as he’s gotten older but he hasn’t fallen off the way y’all tryna make it seem. He’s still right there without the extra promo and clout chasing.
Sales talk is pretty irrelevant if you ignore context of each release. Things are deeper than just numbers, there are different factors at play here.
All his albums have dropped on Fridays as well, what is this loser on about?
He clearly upset his album flopped and came and went.

Do you consider Punk a flop
Hes correct but the silliness of “they crashing the rap game out” as a sentence is distracting me
Julie Greenwald in the crashout hall of fame
Do you consider Punk a flop
yes its not just about first week. His album flopped overall. Plus his single with lil baby and durk got overshadowed by drake/ye.
