all of this is flying in court imo at the end of the day tory is the one that shot her and has to answer for itI understand being scared when weapons are pointing at you. After that, she was safe.

She could easily explain away why she lied and the court would believe it because it obviously makes sense for a victim to lie to cover up someone that's abused or harmed them because they're attached to that abuser
Not about the court though if it goes to jury. Any good lawyer would destroy her on the stand for that. Not saying she’d lose the case, but it’s definitely going to be more of a challenge now as the jury wouldn’t know whether she is telling the truth or not if she wasn’t willing to tell the truth then.
Again this isn’t about how we personally feel about the situation. This is about how just the reality of it.
She was better off never saying anything and just seeking street justice, obviously she can’t now cause it’d be too obvious she has something to do with it.
She might just have to get over it or sue him in civil court. Truly don’t believe taking this to trial will work in her best interest at this point.

she wouldn't get arrested for that. plenty of cases where a victim lies out of embarassment or shame or fear so long as it wasn't in front of a court of law then she straight
Well one, IF she at all when on social media and lied she definitely could be sued for defamation of character and/or slander.
Two, if she lied to the police it could be considered obstruction of justice, but I doubt the DA would pursue that charge against the victim unless they had good reason too.

Does anyone know more about her?If I’m Tory‘s lawyer, this method is definitely the way to go. Start casting doubt on who did it, and decredit any witness that says differently. Hope Tory has a good lawyer.
