Exactly. There is not clear cut evidence that he did it. If Tory won it be due to lack of evidence especially since the victim would already be potentially seen as not credible. And with nobody corroborating her story it’s simple he said/ she said, which is typically not enough to convict someone.
Her best bet at this point is maybe settling out of court with Tory.
Yeah I know! But it isn't like Meg couldn't fight that if she wanted. At the end of the day somebody shot Meg in the foot and I highly doubt she did it lol
Good point on the lack of info on the gun prints and bullet casings though I don't get that at all
I understand what you are saying, I've just never heard of it working like that. I see this all time online.
I just don't know where the idea came from that the court system has different standards for perjury depending on the crime.
The standard for a criminal case is "beyond a reasonable doubt" changing the story introduces doubt. I'm not speak directly to the Meg situation but rather to the point you made.
But of course. The thing is that the court system really isn't that set in stone and honestly it's archaic as f*** and needs changes because DV victims lying in court for a myriad of reasons is not new at all. It's deadass up to the lawyers to jump through those flaming hoops. lol
If Melly beating a double murder, Tory can beat this.
You trying too hard
I only get 2 threads a day and I know somebody else said the same some time ago
Mods suck
