Prosecution is working its way through final few witnesses (firearms experts, mostly foundational stuff that a shooting did happen) and is expected to rest today. Defense may start its case for the final afternoon session.
We heard the end of Kelsey's interview with prosecutors, and she addresses her rift with Meg and said she's upset because Meg didn't stick up for when she started facing major backlash after the shooting.
Kelsey explains to prosecutors in the September interview that she told Meg she needed her to stick up for her in her statement, because she was hearing people say that SHE was the one who shot Meg, not Tory. "Megan, I need you to protect me," she recalled telling her.
Kelsey said she told Meg that people were threatening her and her family, and articles about the LAPD officers stopping them at gunpoint and arresting both Tory and Kelsey were fueling speculation. But when Meg "made that post, there was no protection."
Kelsey tells prosecutors about Meg, "As my best friend, she could have said something."
"She left me in the hot seat...So I'm upset because she didn't clear my name." She laments that "people think I took hush money."
"It's not fair, because I didn't betray her," Kelsey says.Defense attorney has called their first expert witness. Marc Taylor is a DNA expert who just testified that Tory’s DNA was not found on the firearm however they did find a woman’s DNA on the gun.
This is in contrast to the prosecutor’s DNA expert who testified earlier that Tory’s DNA was inconclusive. Defense witness has conducted over 3500 DNA tests while prosecutor’s expert has done barely half that many DNA tests.
Prosecutors have not rested their case however because of defense witness had a scheduling issue, judge allowed them to call their expert witness early.
Judge David Herriford said he expects testimony to conclude on Tuesday.

Kelsey is clearly more involved with the shooting than the prosecution story, whether that's just a struggle over the gun with tory or a full she did the shooting is what needs to be cleared up.
if they expected her to testify that tory was the shooter, why would giving her immunity for her testimony imply she did it/was more involved

If I'm not mistaken, they only gave her immunity last minute, because she requested it at the start of her court appearance. I don't think it was agreed upon before that day.
Idk why she would need immunity if she didn't do anything wrong in the matter. Alone it won't mean much but with the other factors tho

None of this makes any sense, the only thing that is true in the entire case so far is that meg was shot, I don't think she Lied like she knew oh Kelsey shot me so let me blame Tory, I think she just saw Tory with the gun or him hanging out the window as she heard shots, so as a victim (which a lot of people seem to forget that she is) she assumed the person she sees wot a weapon or closes to her shot her. Kelsey might have played a part in that as in a struggle for the gun, it's the only thing that makes sense unless we have a JFK magic bullet scenario here
