Light morning of testimony at Tory Lanez trial. Prosecutor recalled an LAPD officer and a DA’s office investigator in order to introduce some body worn camera footage and lyrics to a diss track Kelsey Harris wrote about Megan called “Bussin’ Back.”

The camera footage shows Kelsey ask Megan if she’s “OK,” as they are both being detained after vehicle stop. On cross, Lanez defense attorney kept asking officer if Tory also asked Megan that question or looked distraught or noticed the defendant’s demeanor, she kept saying no.

The prosecution also got permission to enter into evidence the rest of the lyrics to Kelsey's diss track. Earlier in trial, defense attorney asked a question about lyric "Who I'm taking shots at? B****, I'm busting you," obviously trying to paint Kelsey as shooter.

The Bussin Back track involves accusing Meg of lying to the D.A. about things involving Kelsey, but at no point does Kelsey even remotely imply she shot her.

As a result, prosecution was allowed to ask an investigator questions who reviewed the rest of the lyrics. This led to a 25-minute long irritating sparring session between the DAI and defense attorney over what was said in lyrics we could all, like, clearly read on a screen?

there was an issue with a juror that is being discusssed in private.

the juror, a younger light-skinned Black woman with braided hair and a style of dress that included pink cheetah print pants last week, was asked to stay behind, then she went back into chambers to talk to Judge Herriford.

Judge Herriford say juror is #39. She's a "women’s clothing "seamstress" who says she’s familiar with at least one party in the case through Instagram but generally isn’t on social media. Says she can be fair."

Why is bro’s DNA on the gun inconclusive when he is supposedly the lone shooter who shot at Meg 5x

Why was Kelsey’s DNA not tested? She ended up testing positive for residue and the gun had multiple DNA profiles on it

Everything else you can sway with debate or whatever but two facts should end this case

1) Kelsey and Tory both tested positive for GSR

2) despite the aforementioned, only tory was tested for dna on the gun, which results came back inconclusive despite over 3500 tests and him supposedly shooting someone 5x alone

The idea that the girl who admitted to lying on the stand and pleading the 5th under oath, tested positive for GSR, did not have her DNA tested. That is an incredible botch by the PD, and lowkey a hurdle that SHOULD be too hard to overcome for the prosecution.

How can you in good faith rule out her as being the shooter given the aforementioned?
