Tory Lanez will be sentenced on June 13 at 10:30 a.m. for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in 2020. Judge Herriford set the date a few minutes ago after hearing final comment from Lanez’s lawyers on the rejected motion for new trial.

Recklessly discharging a firearm is pretty serious. You can kill someone from doing that. California, in particular, has strict laws about that.

This was a felony charge because so many shots were fired and that charge alone carries up to 3 years.

If it was just a misdemeanor, he would still face up to a year in prison.

He has two other guilty charges. One of them being assault with a semiautomatic firearm. That's where most of the time comes from. You can face up to 12 years for that.

He was mostly banking on the DNA results which was found to be inconclusive.

But at the end of the day, Meg's emotional testimony and other witness testimony played a bigger part in this trial.

It doesn't matter if he was truly innocent. A jury found him guilty and it looks like there will be no new trial.

I'm taking offense to him being sentence for potentially 22 years. Not everything is black and white I do agree he should be punished

He was charged for discharging a firearm with gross negligence, carrying a loaded unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and assault with a semi-automatic firearm. Tory also has been caught with illegal firearms in the past and he's an immigrant. He was offered 1 year in a plea deal before trial but declined it and fired the lawyer who advised him to take the deal. He got a new lawyer that gassed his head up to take it to trial and now why he's facing up to 22 years. He'll probably get like 5-10 years but the judge definitely doesn't f*** with him after the stunt he just pulled

hi not taking the plea deal was a dumber decision that actually committing the crime all he had to do was say sorry i was drunk take the deal n move on changed man chris brown type beat but no he berated megan publicly then made a video of him cutting up a horse only to be found guilty his ego really was bigger than him also he got prior offenses and has a history of violence he deserves all the time he gets
