I feel like it takes me months to do what others can do in weeks.

Less focus on what others are doing or what pace they on.

It’s hard but that’s an essential mindset to really see results.

My eyes are weary. I'm so tired of having to pick myself up and fight, only to wind back at that same feeling, that I don't really wanna be here anymore.

Any of my ADHD fellow brothers and sisters on that nicotine?

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is characterized by inattention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity that are frequently treated with stimulant medications such as Ritalin. Many people with ADHD smoke. The smoking prevalence rates are estimated to be 40% in adults with ADHD compared to 20% in the general population. People with ADHD have also more difficulty to quit smoking. Only 29% of smokers with ADHD quit smoking compared to 48.5% of smokers in the general population. Nicotine is a stimulant, which may have properties similar to stimulant medications (e.g., Ritalin) used to treat ADHD. Nicotine may increase attention and reduce hyperactivity and impulsivity and, thus, may regulate behavior in individuals with ADHD. Alleviating the symptoms of ADHD and increasing cardiovascular activity through smoking may mimic the effects of stimulant medications and can be a form of self-medication.

Learning other people deal with the same s*** helps to know that I'm not weird/crazy, but it gets weird when I see how shaken they are by it compared to me. I guess that just comes with being so desensitized/emotionally suppressed, which is ironic because I am simultaneously super anxious and sensitive about everything.

It’s designed to keep u on there.

Whatever weed I was smoking even infrequently like twice a year, did the same to me. Last time was just so weird and it never makes my body feel good (actually feel bad) so I kinda had to drop it

    Good luck

i have this cycle with weed where ill smoke occasionally > eventually ill enjoy it more and smoke more often til it becomes everyday > that will go great for a while and even make me more productive because of the way i end up splitting my days ill get a lot of work done then get high but at this point ill be dependent on it for sleep > then at some point itll ruin my appetite to the point where ill become nauseous and throw up randomly at this point ill basically become manic too very high energy and anxious > after a week or two of that ill take a break for usually around a month then its back to square one and ill occasionally smoke socially
