I’m just wondering how “advanced” this is gonna end up feeling in the end, if it’ll feel like a proper next-Gen Prime title or something that could’ve came out 20 years, just with better visuals.
I’m expecting more of the latter since it’s still a Switch 1 game
considering this as my first prime game - played all the 2d and love them but missed this series for various reasons

Switch 1 could pull off TOTK though.

You NEED to play Prime 1 at least it's a masterpiece

True
But based on what they’ve shown, nothing really screams "the next evolution" of the Prime subseries tbh otherwise they would’ve shown it by now.

yeah?
been thinking about it but afraid i'll get hyped for 4 play the older one and then go "this is a game from 2003" and wish I'd just played the shiny new one,

this kind of thinking leads to disappointment

i mean the prime games hold up pretty well and they all pretty much play the same besides 3 using motion controls
4 is looking more of the same but with a new gimmick being the bike and the special abilities samus gets

I’m not expecting the game to go full blown open world or something, but I’m hoping that it has some surprises in store and really shows itself to still be the king of the genre.
damn thats big asl for a switch 1 game, hope that doesnt mean theres a lot of cutscenes cos totk is like half this and thats an open world game lol.

I started my mp1 replay 2 weeks ago and just now i finished the artifact hunt, if i were you id just play mp3 since there's the secret ending that ties to beyond and the npc presence wont make the new characters too jarring

oh no im familiar with the games i just havent played them in years and wanted to get a replay refresher on them before 4 drops
i wouldve been done with them sooner if i didnt decide to replay the 2D ones on a whim lol
dread and samus returns are the only ones in the series ive actually never played though
looking forward to playing both after i finish prime 4

Quit your job, start smoking crystal.
Am I the only one who has a countdown going on for this game’s launch because of how considerably exciting it is to finally be able to play this bad boy???

Nerd!
I really want to see what the first iteration of Prime 4 looked like. If it was so bad that they felt they had to pubicly apologize was crazy to me.

Walking into whatever store first thing in the morning. Seeing Kill Bill as well. Friday is stacked.
