but will it translate to sales/streams? we’ll find out in a few days

Lol I hate word hyperpop cause it doesn’t really mean anything it’s just labels try to box in a very new sound, it’s just like new wave it doesn’t really mean anything it’s just blanket statement to make genre more appealing to wider audience

we can rename that whole microgenre to “sex criminals” at this point
i cant see tupacarti go out like this not after everything he's posted
you know what this is hyperpop what the f*** are any of you gonna do about it
I thought you would have said it wasn’t hyperpop
i just think hyperpop is an umbrella term, it's been fickle from the start. like i saw somebody on here say popp hunna was hyperpop once and that's when i realized there's no point in even trying to really pinpoint it, that's why i put it in quotations
but i think the main sound if there is one is definitely electronic based and more loud and abrasive like MTR
id say its the first big mainstream "rage" song and that can be a good indicator of artists like sofaygo doing numbers and possibly other artists with the rage (and to a lesser extent, plugg) sound

its called podcasters
We callin "hyperpop" to every song with heavy creamy synths now?
