MM for sure won't go back to their og sound but they still have deep cuts in their albums since Good News a which are top tier imo Like Spitting Venom and The Tortoise and the Tourist.

I'm cool with another more poppy feel good-ish single, if they expand beyond that in the album (Which i think they def will)

Oh this was really interesting, definitely the least MM song they ever did lmao. Agree, the verses are definitely the highlight. Some interesting trippy vocal effects and sounds on the instrumental which gives me that psychedelic vibe the album artwork was hinting at

The chorus is okay, on first listen I don't know how to feel about it. It doesn't fit quite well with the rest of the song

But this was a nice change of pace for them

yeah I agree. don't know what they were thinking on the chorus, but the rest sounds perfectly fine I thought
