just now really getting into Sunbreak, on Master rank 3 quests rn so much fun fighting the new souped up versions of the regular mons from Rise, and I loved the orange bishaten and garangolm

I want to get it for the Switch but why the f*** is it still $60?

Is there any way to get it cheaper for the Switch?

You can get the base version for cheap nowadays but the DLC expansion came out this year, so the complete version is gonna be full price now (the complete used to be 70 but now its 50 to 60 depending where you look)

Physicals are usually cheaper too

The free content theyve giving & still going has been so good

Some of the best variants of all time are new n in the expansion

Monster Hunter is like the only series that does "live service" right & fair

Most s*** is free besides the one major expansion & the rare DLC cosmetic, & they actually update it frequently af in substantial ways such as totally new weapons, quests & monsters plus collabs with others games n seasonal special events n changes

World Iceborne n Sunbreak Rise goes over & beyond while being so much quality & in abundance its so wild

Title updates do really mantain the lifespan a lil longer, i know that if they didnt add content like this, i wouldnt keep up with the game like i do

Tho it sill has some of the downsides, because this first 2 title updates really felt like cut content of the base endgame

I understand why that happens, but to me the sweet spot would be getting actual new additions as updates and not really base content that is cut and drip feed. But their strategy works tho

Yeah Rise's rushed development will always be a downside of it, Icebrone n Generations were more complete with newer things in their expansions plus their base were solid af

Theyre doing good with what they have but i will always have some hold back on this gen for all the cut content & damn near flase advertising of the base game especially with mons like Zamtrios, Tetsucabra, Gravios etc. that im still angry about plus most of the later additons in the base game were meant n always are basic things, like how TF did we not have ANY elder dragons outside the final boss for the longest time & barely any quests outside the also giped story which didnt get its actual ending until a later update

But the expansion is great n love the new mons plus the old mmo additions, just wish it added everything the base was missing.

Iceborne & Generations are the pinacles of th series so far for me while 3 Ultimate is a personal fav, I hope the next one especially its gonna be a mainline one n on reg consoles is treated way better n takes it time like Borne.

Its a lot of fun now with a lot to do, but I hope we dont get another Rise situation again. Especially in the base game. Its the first time something has ever happened with the series n I hope it never happens again.

I bought it that day lmao but I only played for 1 hr and haven't touched it since.

If the weapon you chose is putting you off then chage it, literally every weapon is completely different in everyway n its the only game i know of that is that drastic in its classes.

I personally dont like Hunting Horn, Sword Shield & Lance, but I love Switch Axe, Longsword n Bow.

Longsword, Dual Blades & Hammer are usually the easiest to get a hang of while Great Sword, Charge Blade, Gun Lance & Switch Axe are the difficult advanced weapons to learn or get used too. Everything else in the middle, & there is no best or worst it just depends on the individual but its all viable.

It is a a bit of hard series in difficulty & to get a hold of n its mission design/structure is different from most games, especially in the mainstream.

Not having Zamtrios, Tetsucabra, Gravios, Velocidrome, Agnaktor... and all the monsters that have babies in the game somewhere but no adult form is a big ass flaw to me and one of the biggest tbh. Not only because the more monsters the better, because it breaks inmersion so much and makes 0 sense. Like im hunting jagras but there is no sign of Great Jagras??? Does them niggas dont grow or something.

0 sense and like i said, it would actually make the game better. They had the opportunity to fix this in Sunbreak and for no reason they didnt, like Sunbreak has an amazing roster but is so back loaded, if they added some early-mid monsters like Zamtrios and Tetsucabra, while having also some more end monsters like Agna and Gravios (plus also all the other fathers). It would of been perfect man

Base rise Title updates and how the game was released was f***ing crazy, they really just finished the game under the premise of new post release content.

And yeah, im critizicing the game but i obviously love it, 242 hrs in and more to come when TU3 comes.

My favorite has to be 4U. Tho tbh every MH its great. And im sure 6 is about to be more in line with world, Rise is a portable team game also.

Monster Hunter Rise will be available on January 20, 2023, as well as the expansion launching in Spring 2023.
