I hate it the hr ones?? With the cannon balls and s*** f*** that. It feels like a mini game.
Yeah where you get to set it up like tower defense n s*** to fight multiple monster in waves.
I fux with it. If i had to do them constantly tho i would probably hate it, but as it is its a nice change of pace once in a while & i like all the options available to you like ai help n everything.
Feels better than most Siege quests imo. I hate most siege quests, only a few have been cool like Gogmazious & Safi'Jiva.
How tf is Mag not an elder dragon, he's almost a copy of Nergigante mixed with a few other things & the way he acts is full on elder flex plus it's crazy design

Yeah that's kinda what my my friends said too but I'm not feeling it maybe as I get better at I'll learn to enjoy it.
My boi Tobi Kadachi bossed up from level 3 mon to level 4 in Rise
My guy been working out since his World introduction
Seems like all the World mons got a bump up to the next level in Rise than what they originally were.
Tobi, Odogoron & Anjanath are my top 3 of base World while Tobi & Odog are some of my fav mons period, dope to see Anja & Tobi made it into this one. Pukei as well.

shoutout Tobi Kadachi man
That damage
I’ve never been into the bow but this makes me want to try it out
I have 38 hours on this already f*** me
That ain't s*** either I bet there's a ton of players pushing past 100 already.
This s*** is digital crack
70 hrs
In 4 star & still killing most things within 5 to 8mins & only have had two carts total, from Barroth & Tobi
6mins and below were like speed runner and/or maximum tryhard builds in all the other games, to put it into perspective (which i am not doing nor even at the level yet to do). 10 to 15mins is usually good players & 15 to 25min were usually average players in previous titles. I would usually be in the mix of good and average, usually taking me 10 to 20mins, sometimes a bit shorter & sometimes longer.
Feel like the game got casualize tbh, not only with evidence of way quicker monster slay times, but also by them taking out stuff like cold/hot drinks etc. which is part of the preparing for a hunt aspect of it all.
Not saying its a totally bad thing & it makes it an excellent choices for newcomers to start out with, but it is odd.
I can understand maybe shorting life pools for time to kill, but why take out items & experiences that make you prepare & feel like a hunt?
Game still fun tho.
its way too fast
barely feels like a hunt tbh
This still faxx.
Although still fun & overall great, it does feel taken down a notch & more "casual".
Still dont know why they took out hunt prep items too, they have been part of its DNA & part of the point of MH.

I saw a dude praising the game with 100 hours saying “they made less focus on the hunt and more on just fighting the monster because of it being portable and it’s great”
I was just sitting there like
I’m prob gonna do a lot of early hub quests solo

So stupid lol especially when the series been mostly portable its whole life
I talked more in depth about it too above the reply post to u.
But yeah, thats dumb af. Being a hunter & hunting has always been part of the dna & one of the main focus.
Now the creatures are all automatically shown on the map, no more hunt prep & way quicker time to kill lol.
Some vet mh players were mad at World for being "western" with all its streamlining, but Rise took it to whole new level. World was like the perfect balance we had so far, while Rise is def the most casual/easiest & gimped in ALL aspects. Its kinda brainless to a degree.
I hope the next one isnt as simple as Rise.
I’ve never been into the bow but this makes me want to try it out
I’m trying it right now. It’s fun but it’s got a learning curve if you want to use it to its full potential. I’m gonna need some practice for sure.

I hoped rise would be more like the old games since it’s the portable dev team but I guess capcom saw the success of world in the west and said f*** it
Idk where you guys are at but high rank hub quest are longer and more difficult than when I was playing village.

They just decided to go all the way left with it smh. There is a thing as taken something too far.
Feels kinda mmo-y now.

Personally I enjoy solo bc it’s you vs the monster and you get to learn the monster and moves
So I believe village should’ve been harder
I’m not to high rank hub quests yet but I wish that difficulty level was in the single player

Thats how it always is.
Of course it will be semi harder the more you keep going, but It still doesnt change that overall its all lesser.
And it goes beyond the difficulty of fights.
yo that f***ing sucks ass
Yeah World & Genrations were way different & still had hunter prep. Even in village which i always do village first for the story & to get my feet wet, so i def know the usual average of things.
Its really weird in Rise. Tryhardness & speed runner times are like the norm time in Rise.

I literally haven’t really thought about my inventory so far
It’s never full and since the village quests have been easy af I usually have potions and s***
I also don’t like that the monsters run away like 5 feet bc it’s supposed to be like world but the switch can’t handle huge maps

oh my godddddd
I’m honestly still waiting for this game to fully click and for me to fall in love with it
It’s good but idk I’m not with the praise it’s currently getting maybe my opinion will change with high rank hub
