What's good y'all
I'm moving out to the Boston area in February, gonna be in Natick
Any leads on housing / general advice for moving to Boston?
Pretty sure its like a million dollars to own and live in a 8x8 shed in natick
Gonna rent g
housing in boston right now is rough, one of the worst in the country
idk where you movin from, but boston has a generally reserved/standoffish vibe. that isnt to say people arent nice or welcoming, its just not as much.
driving is ass. s*** be 5 miles down the road and it takes 30 minutes. its not so much out in the surrounding towns, but once you get into boston proper the roads get skinny and tricky, lot of one ways and stop signs and s***ty roads and construction.
you got the natick mall tho its kinda nice, framingham up the street. that lil corner of the map is nice you got decent towns around
Moving into the area? LMFAO good luck housing is atrocious right now over here. You will over pay and hate it probably

Rent is like $3500 on average for a nice two bedroom two bath in Natick. Got me looking out at Wayland for a spot.

Yeah rent is crazy high. Can't even fathom living in the city and paying absurd amounts
Housing costs are absurd but Boston haters have probably never even been here
Its a great city with amazing jobs and some of the smartest people in the country. Our sports teams are elite, the city is beautiful with tons of tucked away quiet areas, and transportation is super easy. One of the top areas of the country to live in if you can get over the high housing costs and s*** weather
