Welcome to the Commonwealth my friend

    Thank you! Cheers

  • I went to a tgiving party in a suburb outside Boston and it made me want to move there.

Cool shops, multicultural, if I had money or could go to Harvard I'd get a place near the bruins celtics thing and just go to games all the time.

Seems like the goat place to live.

i can't lie it's looking a little sparse right now a little minimal if you will but overall it's looking just like an unfurnished fourth floor corner 2ba 2br unit you feel me

housing in boston right now is rough, one of the worst in the country

idk where you movin from, but boston has a generally reserved/standoffish vibe. that isnt to say people arent nice or welcoming, its just not as much.

driving is ass. s*** be 5 miles down the road and it takes 30 minutes. its not so much out in the surrounding towns, but once you get into boston proper the roads get skinny and tricky, lot of one ways and stop signs and s***ty roads and construction.

you got the natick mall tho its kinda nice, framingham up the street. that lil corner of the map is nice you got decent towns around

    Wow

Boston is a pretty city and I enjoyed my week there when I stayed in the Northend

It is very expensive but has a lot of cool shops and culture to offer tbh versus cities of comparable size

The universities attract a lot of diverse and smart people; I liked the vibe from the transplants.

I grew up here so honestly I like the standoffishness, I probably give off that vibe as well, I lived in Ohio for a year and I thought it was weird how friendly everyone is to strangers

Brace yourself for snow in the am.

getting what like 4 to 8 in.? got this email from my apartment

    "Good evening Alta Oxbow Resident,

There is a Winter Storm Warning in the area, with the snow forecast to begin around 1:00AM on February 13, 2024. This storm is expected to bring 4-8" of snow to our region. The Winter Storm Warning currently remains in effect until 1:00AM on Wednesday, February 14.
As with any severe weather event, there is a possibility of isolated power outages. Please remember, should there be a loss of power please reach out to your service provider (Eversource) for updates. Their customer service number is 1-800-592-2000 and you can find updates regarding outages on their Outage Map located at eversource.com.

Our snow removal contractor will be on-site during the storm to keep the roadways and walkways as passable as possible. They will return after the snow has stopped to work on clearing the parking lot.

Please keep an eye on your email for additional updates, should we need vehicles moved from one area to another to allow for snow removal. If we do ask for cars to be moved, please move your car as soon as possible to an area that has already been cleared so that the team may work to complete cleanup efforts efficiently and safely.

Building staff may be reduced tomorrow, based on travel advisories and road conditions. Please report any building emergencies such as leaks or loss of heat and hot water as soon as possible.

We thank you for your cooperation thru the storm. Stay safe!

    Alta Oxbow Management Team"
