    At the time 808s wasn’t well received, this was before Drake starting pippin’ so it was very uncommon for rappers to use autotune or sing for an entire album. With that being said crucify may be a tad extreme.

    no. the album was polarizing at most. he was not crucified. i saw wayyy more hate for yeezus than 808s. 808s for the most part was well recieved and loved even. yes initially people were taken aback at the musical direction but its extremely revisionist to say he was crucified for 808s
