I understand a women getting emotionally attached to the child and the idea of what they could be, but that child coming into an unfavorable world. It’s also very stupid and selfish on the mothers part to willingly bring a child into that situation.

Same s*** happened with my friend and his ex gf. They weren’t in a bad space like your cousin but that kid changed EVERYTHING. The stress of taking care of a needy kid also broke them up. They’re both good co-parents but they probably would’ve still been together if not for the extra stress.
