All they had to do was take what made Factions 1 so great and add TLOU2 mechanics to it but NOOOOOOOOO they had to do all this s***………

I would’ve loved just another straight factions mode with part 2s updated combat, but tbh what they were planning sounded pretty cool as well. I just wish they’d shown at least a little bit of gameplay before it got canned so we could see what it’s like.
I hate how naughty dog has just lost their throne. I still think TLOU2 is a masterpiece but I miss when as a studio they were not this polarizing and were loved across the board
Late stage capitalism gaming. Big business is continuing to ruin s*** if they don’t see a path to Fortnite dollars
We lost, I've been addicted to TLOU Remastered MP and have been waiting for this Factions for ages, literally one of the main reasons I got a PS5. F*** ND, F*** BUNGIE.
I blame Jim Ryan and bungie more than ND
They wanted to push GAAS
Damn ND got y’all heated
I’m just happy they can put all their focus back on single player experiences

Literally the reason why it was cancelled was coz Bungie said you can't make money with this, nothing about the actual game.
ND was probably putting most of their focus on giving us a really great MP game.

I lowkey like that Sonys plans to make MP games is failing so they keep focusing on putting out SP games.

Why would you blame Bungie lol

This was from their dedicated multiplayer team lol.

They're already focusing on that as is though lol
Why would you blame Bungie lol
Per the initial report bungie was the one who reviewed this game and put it on ice. They said it wasn’t “gaas” enough and didn’t have a long lifecycle of content / micro transactions

They're just doin their job though. Weird to blame them

They already do that
They got people paying for a subscription when they haven’t made a multiplayer game since killzone shadowfall
They need to step it up
i dont think Sony has a future in gaming and its quite possibly due to the entire industry focusing more on live service multiplayer experiences and Sony not being able to compete even after buying help
Bungie struggling to help ND bring Factions to light is actually embarrassing

you’re smoking crack
best selling franchise in gaming is Mario and there’s no live service mario games really

Mario isnt the best selling because of new games tho??
although they do sell well
there will always be big, high grossing single player games of course but Nintendo and Xbox investing heavily into live service multiplayer tells a lot

wait what do you mean? I’m strictly talking about video game sales btw not the media franchise

Mario's video game sales history goes far back before online gaming was on consoles?
there's more than enough evidence showing that the kids who game now and will be playing in the next 5-10 years are playing Multiplayer games as their main time spent but when i was a kid it wasn't the same as Mario was of course a big seller
