Turning 21 next week and aint touched a credit card in my life
I’m 30 and got my first about a year ago. Didn’t know until like 2 months ago I wasnt supposed to pay it immediately every use.
It was mainly due to buying stuff to resell and after I sold the item, wouldn’t pay back the credit card or use that money for bills and it would just be a continuous cycle….really stupid…I’ve stopped using the cards and have been making payments but that interest makes it seem like I’m never gonna get out of that hole
Damn better you caught yourself now than later tho. Since you’re early 20s you probably don’t have responsibilities outside yourself so that is at least a good place to start from.
Just keep below the standard 30% across all credit to keep your credit utilization at "excellent"

Paying every use is good, especially if you get cash back
post yall credit card numbers so we can compare them
I bet you my ssn is higher than yours
You go first though

From what I’ve gathered You wanna leave some not payed off so on your bill it looks like you’ve been using it then just pay it all off before the due date
No, do not carry balances on your cards. That is not good debt.
Good debt is car loans, mortgage, personal loans, that you are making consistent mo they payments on.
Credit card debt is not good debt
I only have rent and car insurance as bills to pay.
50k or dinner with op?

Looks like a pretty good set up.
You could get better use of your rewards if you kinda stick to one ecosystem though, like Chase.
My trifecta is
Amex Blue Business Plus
Amex Gold card
Amex Schwab Platinum card
For the membership rewards points. That set up is good for travel and the Schwab card let’s me redeem rewards points for 1.1 cents per point, so I have like 2.5k cash I can redeem.
But like I am saying, Just make sure you pay the balance every month.

Same mfs be thinking I’m weird for not having one
pay them off in rotation
if you have 5 cards pay 2 or 3 off in full each month and keep the other 2-3 on a payment schedule ABOVE the min payment. Credit scores are impacted most by you utilization ratio and then your payment.
look at your overall credit limit numbers add them together and then see how much debt you have accumulated and pay the amount off that gets you at 20%-15% utilization at the least. Shows you can pay your s*** off and keep your numbers low at the end of each cycle
Credit cards literally give you free money if you use them and pay balance off in full every month.
