Peeping After the Gold Rush now
Nobody has had a bigger influence on the way I play guitar
Lou Reed and Pete Townshend are up there but Neil is that dude
If it's not enough that he's got that mammoth, iconic electric tone, he also has the loveliest gentle acoustic playing that you can hear on Massey Hall
And he makes it sound so simple and effective too, like anyone can do it the way he does, and that's what makes him so influential
I started a new music project last year and I'm kinda modeling it after the start of Neil's solo career, kind of a modest low key vibe folk rock album that I wrote in quarantine. Then blow it up on the followup with a full band and play around LA.
JERRY ON A STRIKE WHEW
Itβll make four in a row
Iβll pick back up with some more tmr
