A very good producer in general IMO, the shimmering sound of Emmylou Harris' Wrecking Ball album is one of those sonic marvels and he's got lots of classics under his belt

has anyone (outside of Tom Waits) ever conjured such a soupy murk of a production as he did for Time Out Of Mind

I love the production on that album but I believe Bob hates it lol

the crisp production of his next few makes me believe it

the murk suited him better you hear the new one? dear lord
