The film is all over twitter and it’s even worse than the trailer suggested, there’s no fake outrage. How is that difficult to understand?

I didn’t say you did. I’ve seen other reviews from people who watched the film say her reasons for rebelling are poorly handled and give off the impression that their actions are seen as a good thing. You even said in your review that the initial scene where they learn how to twerk is played for laughs.

End of the day, theres a better way to critique a misogynistic culture than to depict twerking little girls as something funny or empowering and literally ogling little girls butts

All I’m saying is if you’re going to be mad about something, especially to the point of condemning any and everybody who doesn’t share in your outrage, you should be informed on what you’re being mad about.

Secondly the anger is misplaced imo. There was a tweet about it itt, people are mad about this, but there are several reality tv shows on TLC, that had/have several seasons that do the exact thing this movie is demonstrating.

There’s a whole thread full of videos on twitter. People are fully aware of what they’re outraged about. Either way it’s definitely a weird thing to get caught up on, some people not being fully informed about this won't change the content at the end of the day.

Pretty much. I can't take anybody's opinion on the film seriously if they haven't seen it. They are literally forming their opinions by making ill-informed conclusions or forming their opinions by listening to other people's opinions (which may be heavily influenced by bias).

basically you’ve managed to bypass the racy content and your main focus is to give a psycho a***ysis of characters actions. Ehh i get it, but at what cost is it to portray a story when the actors themselves are probably not even mentally developed enough to understand what the writers are trying to convey to the viewer ?
