season should’ve ended with the whole group at Max’s funeral and they see the ash raining down

but since they didn’t kill her - Vecna should use her body as a host. They did it with Will in S2, but Will was fighting back. Since Max is not conscious, Vecna has free reign, and she becomes basically the villain. Then the characters have a moral dilemma and don’t want to hurt her

rewatching the scene with lucas holding max as she's pleading for her life bruh when i saw it the first time i was damn near sobbing but on the rewatch all i can think is "meh, just hold on eleven skywalker is on her way with deus ex machina force powers." bad storytelling just ruins what could have been one of the show's most impactful moments

Kinda, he's the one that knows when things are gonna get bad. Even though Eleven probably can also feel Vecna.

It's weird seeing people compare part 1 to part 2 when part 2 is just 2 episodes. It's one season, they only split it cause it was pushed back due to the pandemic and the wait was getting too long.
