Then Qatar, they're using the old pre-Brazil engine again, Lewis s***s on everyone in quali with -0.5 delta, maintains a comfortable lead throughout the race, Toto Wolff says they will be using the "rocketship" engine again in Saudi
The amount of CAP Toto Wolff been saying throughout the season is f***ing off the charts

So according to Mercedes @ Brazil, old engine was lacking reliability and they changed it because they can't risk but apparently it was pretty much alright to run it at Qatar lol. That "performance degradation" part is also questionable seeing how the car was still absolutely competitive in Qatar.

Ehh ngl i didn't pay much attention to what exactly was said by Horner but from what i've seen, Marko words weren't really aimed at marshalls but rather at the race direction handing out the penalties
Anyway, i'd say Horner just said some really unnecessary hot-headed s*** because his driver got the penalty that can be crucial for the championship battle. But i mean, rules are rules, s*** like this just may happen.

I guess not curbs alone though (they did more damage to aero/underbodies this weekend), track is full of high-speed high-downforce corners so combined with more abrasive surface the tire wear is naturally excessive here. Still, wear is one thing, but it's a Pirelli's job to make sure that tires don't just straight pop like that, it's a safety thing after all.
Track limits been a hot topic throughout the whole season tbh, my take on this is that in the end of day the only track limits that drivers will 100% respect are the physical ones that either damage your car or slow your down

Bottom line is these teams are going to be dramatic, downplay, say whatever.
The best part is that they can settle this all on the circuit and as long as it’s within regulations it is all fair play. So I don’t really put much stock in to anything the teams say, to me it’s just entertainment there.
