Mar 9, 2020ThriceThis is quite accurate, but I also don't see whats the issue with that. It does sound like something off a soundtrack for an animated Disney film.
Some of the biggest musicians / artists have done songs for Disney and Animated movies, Prince, MJ and Whitney to name a few. Bruno Mars is working on a Disney project right now as we speak, also Abel is a huge Disney fan himself.
Not EVERYTHING he puts out has to sound like it could feature in a Neo-Noir slasher or some artsy 80's sci-fi horror flick lmao. It's sometimes refreshing to mix it up and not box yourself to one sound/genre. Its like s***ting on actor for doing a comedy or lending his voice to an animation film cause you enjoy seeing him playing some brooding and disturbed character in most of his movies lol

The whole way he was singing on those soft bright melancholy pads reminded me of some Prince s***. All it’s missing is a guitar solo.
