They are pretty damn close to the same guys just one had a better team around him. You can say different but the same tier for sure.

We think Mahomes can, but we've never seen him without Reid. Josh Allen looked like a bust before Daboll got ahold of him. Trevor Lawrence looked like a bust last year.
It's not necessarily a huge knock on Kirk that he needs things around him to go well to win. I'm not sure how many QBs in this league win a game where their defense forces only 1 punt.
Ofc the defence wasn't good yesterday but how many times have Cousins showed that he has that x factor that can pull Viks through to the SB? Yeah, a lot of teams would love a regular Pro Bowler who's good enough on their team but it's the question of what do you want. It's been what, 4-5 years now? If you want to just get into the playoffs it's fine, if your ambitions are high and you want to actually compete then I don't think Cousins should stay for much longer. But I guess I can agree Viks priority should maybe be fixing that pass defence for now.

i would say that's silly given the context of this convo and you comparing Carr to Cousins saying Carr is about to be dropped lol. he's being dropped because LV is looking at this season (and his fat contract) not his "body of work"

No, you are still looking at it on a 1 for 1. They aren't moving on from carr because of just last year but because of his ENTIRE tenure. If carr won a sb last year do you think they cut him? No.
And I'm not advocating for cousins to be cut but he is who he is just like carr is.
