KOLLAPSOh yeah Meg is 100% hotter. The issue I find with these ladies is, are we just looking for a Nicki replacement? I’m not trynna disrespect Meg or discredit her art at all, but just like with Cardi, it’s easy to fall in love with a familiar face. Even Doja Cat got so much attention and I think it comes down to: if you’re not thick your fanbase won’t be overfilled with hyper-sexualized men who don’t actually care about your art. This is good and bad cuz it weaves out fake fans but also brings less attention to these girls, so people like a Rico Nasty who was right next to Meg on the XXL cover isn’t getting nearly the same amount of attention. The reason I point this out is because I’m skeptical of how long Meg’s reign will last, and if she’ll actually try to solidify herself as the good artist I know she sees herself as, or follow the Cardi path of embracing a social media personality? Cardi will never have the same respect from Hip-Hop as Nicki does, writers or not, because her music just isn’t as good as Nicki’s. Meg on the other hand actually seems to be putting creative effort into her artistry so perhaps she’ll able to do what Cardi couldn’t and really snag the throne from Nicki.

Hip hop viewed Cardi as an entertainer I think, Meg does have a lot more artistic credibility.
I love Rico, but do you think that part of it is because the music and everything about her isn't as mainstream? Like Doja and Meg have had some very mainstream songs to help them break through.
I think if Meg takes over Nicki that's well deserved. I love how she often works with the same producer too to really define a sound

But yea I think Meg is in a much higher league than Cardi.
Meg can be the next rap queen if she plays the cards right. Doesn’t hurt that she has such a likable personality.

Even before Doja, Doja made very mainstream tracks a lot of the time even tho she had a weird internet humour. Like everything from So High to Moo (which is commercial when it comes to making a meme), then songs like Juicy or even Cyber S***are all mainstream. Say So just taking it to a new level. That's a classic Dr Luke song in every way. He could have given that to one of his popstars like a decade ago
