i mean this with all the love for this site in the world but this site doesnt have the power to put on an artist by itself, it has a lot of power in the sense that people can meet like minded people on here, i met a ton of people i worked with when i first started making music from ktt, and also you can keep ur already engaged fans engaged in a thread on here and keep all ur info in one place

but its not rly a discovery marketing tool like that, by posting on here ur constantly posting to the same few people, some of them will fw you, some wont, and when compared to the algorithmic growth u can see on any social media platform now, its just not the same.

also people on here log on to argue about drake and kanye, not to find new music. again not a dig but u can see the difference in thread replies when people post an unknown artist but there are a few like minded posters who share new music but otherwise most people dont rly care to use the site for that

its still a super powerful platform like i wouldnt be randomly getting beers with @Mitchell in kansas city or dapping posters up at my nyc shows, i wouldnt have met my first manager, gotten my first blog placements etc. i just think ktt posters have been saying we could blow up an artist for over a decade now and there is a reason it has never happened and that reason isnt for lack of talent haha
