El NiggaSOC is the iconic NWA album but imo N4L is even better. Yes, there is no Cube on the sophomore, but there are more great songs and Dre's rapping is much better on this project. Plus each remaining member is at peak charisma here. An underrated classic

Well yeah put in that perspective. I just feel though Cube really it hit me hard.

I had my dads Peace CD playing in the the Ken wood stereo. I will never forget playing Cube music. He is unreal with flows and lyrics cause his pen game is unlike most.

mr get doughI don’t think it’s as groundbreaking or has the content to match, like there was a lotta social commentary in SOC. But still this is a good album definitely one of the first g funk albums
I think it is groundbreaking but not for the same reasons SOC was. From a production standpoint one of the craziest albums oat imo.

I listened to both countless times but I gotta with N4L.
SOC is in a different league from a lyrical standpoint and got iconic singles that N4L can't really fw. I mean it's hard to beat tracks like SOC, F*** the Police, Gangsta Gangsta and Express Yourself.
The sole reason I prefer N4L is the crazy production tbh. It's one of the best produced albums of all time in my opinion.
SOC is probably the better album to most tho.Lowkey my favorite NWA track:

Okay now you got me intrigued to listen to both back to back next week for real and get a refresh. I know the op here knows his stuff is the reason I came in to get to know more why he picked it and I am as well as sharing love for Ice Cube because we all know he’s a legend but him not making it changed my experience so much so now being older and wiser I gotta re listen.
