I remember watching the trailers for these before they all came out and thinking what's up with all these samurai/ninja games releasing soon and even tried the first nioh. Now having played all 3, recently completing nioh 2 it reminded me of the anticipation for them and got me wondering how people would rank them

1. Sekiro
2. GoT
3. Nioh

Nioh was too ez for me. Sekiro was what made me throw my controls so much, such a rewarding game. GoT had decent Open World but got kinda stale after 2nd island also too ez.
All are good games tbf.

Nioh 2 my fav solely off its customization and overall gameplay Sekiro is very close second tho, I really liked GoT but it got so stale towards the end, I put it down for a bit only to realize I was actually at the last mission

Open word games really starting to be a double-edged sword, it's cool you got all this content to see and do but after a while it gets so repetitive

Not official, but apparently there’s lore involving Japan in the AC storyline so it might be a game eventually

Open world games are really tired. BOTW the only one that feels like it did it right. Only thing that was somewhat repetitive were shrines but I loved them so I had no issues

Nioh build diversity, gameplay & customization s***s on the other two tbh. Sekiro only has level design above it & Tsushima only has story above it.

Nioh took the souls gameplay & improved/expanded it ten fold, & the first one is the main reason people care about Samurai games again.

Nioh 2 > Sekiro >>> Tsushima

Sekiro was a f***ing journey for me. An experience unlike any game i ever had. Easily top spot.

Ghosts of tsushima is pretty fun and has some good moments. Nothing groundbreaking
