Nioh build diversity, gameplay & customization s***s on the other two tbh. Sekiro only has level design above it & Tsushima only has story above it.
Nioh took the souls gameplay & improved/expanded it ten fold, & the first one is the main reason people care about Samurai games again.
Nioh 2 > Sekiro >>> Tsushima
Facts, theres so much in nioh 2 when it comes to customization I was still learning s*** by the start of my second play through. The build system is actually so fire to me cause you don’t even have to start a new character to have a dif build just save and load one up. When I get a chance i gotta cop nioh 1 remaster
Sekiro
Ghost
Nioh
Really don't like nioh's 2 hit kill s***
dunno why some ppl say this tbh
only die in two hits if u or the build is trash like reg souls games imo
i think Nioh 2 is actually easier than Nioh tbh, but thats just me

Facts. The stance system is so crazy & innovative too. The depth, variety & player agency is so wild.
Love how many ways you can tackle a situation as well. S*** is so heat. The fluidity of combat is brazy too.
The Nioh series are the only good "souls like" games imo & its does a good amount even better & evolves/spin it instead of blatant copying.
Only thing i wish is that graphically it looked better, but aside that, its so great.
And both Niohs are 60 frames on PS4
Tie for Sekiro and Nioh 2, both 2 of my favourite games. Love Sekiro for its art direction and different approach to combat and Nioh for how the deep its combat is.
GoT is literally just another open world game, a good one but nothing crazy. Story was mid asf too

have you played the DLC? heated it was just on sale like last month and didn't cop cause I wasn't really playing it like that and didn't pay attention to it but now I just want more nioh
Never been big on Soulsborne games but is Sekiro worth picking up?
one of the best games i've played from fromsoftware tbh.
only issue i have is like 80% into the game, it kind of gets repetitive and bosses are mid imo.

don't play it as your first soulsbourne game
play any of the dark souls or bloodborne first (id probably play bloodborne first)

Just curious but why would you say Bloodborne before DS? I know combat is more aggressive and fast paced than Dark Souls. I've only played Dark Souls 2 on 360 years ago, saving Dark Souls Remastered, DS3 and Sekiro for when I get a ps5. 60 fps

bloodborne is just more engaging than ds1 imo
i feel like ds1 might put some newcomers off. bloodborne is the perfect souls game to start with because of the faster gameplay and atmosphere/lore in general
and since it's a standalone game, a new player will probably know by the time they finish it if they like the soulsborne genre
1. Sekiro
2. GoT
3. Nioh
Nioh was too ez for me. Sekiro was what made me throw my controls so much, such a rewarding game. GoT had decent Open World but got kinda stale after 2nd island also too ez.
All are good games tbf.
Excited af for this tho
isn’t nioh much more difficult than sekiro? it seemed like that to me
sekiro and then two poverty sekiros
Sekiro is just poverty Ninja Gaiden.
Nioh 2 is mechanically better than Sekiro and Ghost of Tsushima. The combat is better in Nioh 2 as well.
So it's no competition really. Nioh 2 is just the better vs the other two.
Nioh is bad
Nah, Nioh is the best.
The combat in Nioh is far more deep, complex, engaging and fun than the likes of Sekiro, Dark Souls or Ghost of Tsushima.
And let's be honest, the gameplay of both Dark Souls and Ghost of Tsushima is absolute trash. I find it funny how Team Ninja came along and did the Soulslike formula better than From Software.
From Software has always been far behind Team Ninja anyway. Even the "perilous attack" system in Sekiro is just ripped off from Ninja Gaiden 3.
GoT is the most accessible to any normal gamer I feel
Nioh probably slightly harder whereas Sekiro is just torture
