Yessir. Honestly I don’t even consider Korra canon, idc If it was made by the original creators

where did atla say it came from
I surprisingly found myself enjoying Boomy jr which is funny cause I despise Bolin and am put off by most comedic relief characters. I guess cause he never killed a serious tone because he was rarely in one
True true, he got better as he got older but I felt like they were trying too hard with him at times
Can’t have him and Bolin at the same time lmao

Nah I totally understand how he could be seen as annoying af

Pissed me off so much.
They didn’t even make Vaatu threatening.
where did atla say it came from
They only talked about animals/elements being the original benders, or at least teaching humans how to use the power. That I guess was passed from the Lion Turtles
The badger moles, dragons, the moon (?)
I don’t remember the air one

They really tried to cap like that was always the plan
There was so much potential in Korra man. But they wasted almost every opportunity
where did atla say it came from
They said humans learned it from animals and spirits. Airbenders learned it from the flying bison, waterbenders learned it from the moon (the moon controls tides), firebenders learned it from dragons, and I forgot what animal earth benders got it from. This was so cool to me and better fit with the nature theme of avatar, Korra threw it all away for some god and the devil stuff.

So Korra just knows fire and rock as a small child right off the bat?
Not a good start to this series

Oh your watching it rn?

So bending is based on genetics, training in martial arts, and the elementals such as dragons, air bison, the moon, and giant moles.
In Korra they retconned it that lion turtles gave the powers which makes the animals pointless. Even worse you could use the bending skills with a flick of a punch which makes the martial arts pointless
I wonder if any of this will lead to a new series.
I’m only on LoK season 2 so no spoilers please
You would think Korra would actually have trouble with fire bending since it’s the opposite of Water
Why is it Air that’s hard for her to do? Huh?
I think korra fell into the same problem the star wars sequels fell into which is trying to hard to follow up on the original. A show that left so much free lore and was wrapped up so well doesn't need a direct follow up at all.

Air is the most spiritual element and she struggles with her spirituality

Ah okay. Thanks for clearing that up.
I have my problems with Korra but man Jinora's ceremony gotta be one of the best moments in the ATLA universe.

it has to do with personality, same reason aang sucked at earth bending at first cuz it was the opposite of his personality korra is impatient and rough so she sucks at air bending
