Smacked VoodooHonestly I hate alot of those songs that OP posted and it's mostly because I never stop hearing them at my job. This gym plays nothing but hit songs of the Jersey Shore and it's this s*** sometimes remixed with s*** edm. No thanks.
There are a good amount of them mixed in, leaning more towards the Pop/R&B side. But if it's mostly just like...Pop music, then nah that s*** gotta go.

808s and i feel like dying are super influential in hip hop sound today
rock is in the dead mainstream (though still many great releases independently)
lorde and lana clones all over place in pop
these are basically the reasons why charts are like they are in the most simplest form
