While we’re on the subject of Cormac McCarthy, I kind of hope this Blood Meridian movie falls apart. Feels even more unnecessary with him gone now.

I think that + the Metal Gear movie are never escaping development hell, and we’re better for it

rewatching TWBB today makes me feel entirely opposite of op lol

Haven’t seen No Country for like ten years, but I choose that. For some reason I remember that movie perfectly from start to finish. McCarthy was just too good

Only a real visionary director could make that work tbh. Like a Kubrick, not a John Hillcoat

this is not close at all & love both films lmao

No country for old men is possibly the best movie of the 21st c so far. TWBB is great
