Take Care. Generation defining album. The album were Drake became Drake. The album that encapsulated my post high school life and guided me through being a young adult

Songs like Practice really recontextualised my perceptions of girls at the time lmao I swear drake has singlehandedly raised an entire generation of toxic men

    yeezus is a perfect album

Would’ve been perfect with the original 8 track concept

    On Site
    Black Skinhead
    I Am A God
    New Slaves
    Hold My Liquor
    I’m In It
    Blood On The Leaves
    Bound 2

Guilt Trip and Send It Up are cool but are obvious filler/not as essential or urgent as the rest

    100% I won't ever understand a differing opinion

Maybe I'm close minded but it defines "perfect" for me

probably reasonable doubt. the album is older than me but listening to it i just feel a guy that has something he wants to tell us. like he has a story he’s learned a lot from and he just wants to let us know and i just feel what he’s saying. the production is incredible too. i think the first time i listened to can i live as a teenager i rewound it like 10 times

“when it boils to steam it comes to it we all fiends, even righteous minds go through this”

“in order to survive gotta learn to with regrets, on the rise to top many drop don’t forget in order to survive gotta learn to live with regrets”

    Fever

    Assume form or hithisisflume

I don't remember what came out first but both were added. 2019 I think

Assume Form was so important to me back in 2018/19 whenever that was

Absolutely rinsed the f*** out of that album and it lowkey got me through some of my happiest and roughest times in that period, not that I knew that they were happening while they were happening ofc

Title track still makes my insides backflip, production still inspiring, the ballads still make me emotional

Might be in my top 10 too honestly, it’s definitely my favourite J Blizzy

such an amazing album his most challenging sonically and probably his most timeless in a way

  • Yeezus prolly

On sight being an espresso shot to start the album is the perfect description for that track

Edit: oh wait you said all time. Thought you meant last favourite album. There's too many favs

I had legit the same exact situation play out around it's release too. Was such an intense time in my life

I don't think there's a dull moment on the whole album. It always keeps my full attention except maybe mile high but it's still a good track

Ppl on reddit kept calling me a new fan for liking it lmao wouldn't believe me I found him on mu when self titled came out lol
