Ya hype has washed away and this was quite mid. That argument scene almost played out like an SNL skit.

Good movie. Driver ate that script and went to work. He killed it. ScarJo’s acting was meh which sucks because her character was a big part of the movie. If there was a better female lead this movie would’ve been top 5.

Adam Driver stole the show but it was good either way all around to get MCU/Disney actors back into a movie that’s down scaled and real, like grounded, down to earth, relatable material

Cinematography somehow was really nice too, some good shots

Never thought I’d end 2019 with seeing Scarlo in Bowie Let’s Dance

Score was reaaaaally good too

The scene where they both meltdown at his apartment had me really in an odd sensation, first the dialogue was great and detailed, it gets so intense in that one scene but there’s some odd pacing in how they jump to an emotion or more a conversation to another

The performance right there goes to outstanding to almost off putting in that moment, it was a very conflicted feeling I’ve never felt before so that was interesting

Definitely felt in scenes like that like I was watching a live broadway too, ironically or maybe on purpose, maybe why I felt sometimes in and out in that scene, like it was one big one take, a hard one for sure

But anyway it was really good, LOVED the lawyers scenes the most, it was so convincing

Adam Driver career is ascending. So dope.

Got into a drunk argument with one of my best friends about whether this film treated each person equally (I don't think it does), and it turned into a super awesome bonding moment between us.

Movie may not be perfect, but it offers so much for the viewer to dissect.
