Nah, you don't have to still be on the charts to be a classic. But if you are still on the charts, then you're a classic.
Plus I think there would be a lot morre albums on that list but songs get grouped into a "greatest hits album". I think there were like at least 10 of them on there.

Saying NWTS and LR aren't classics is like saying Godfather 2 isn't a classic. Yeah, sure, it wasn't as original or innovative or influential as the one that came before it. But it refined it and made it more potent.
